    Well made piece

    Well made strong tool. Tool arrived in good time, I had checked as best I could that it would fit my 57 Reg. peugeot 407 2.0HDI engine as a timing belt & water pump kit was required. A few hours into the job it was time to lock the flywheel, sadly this tool did not fit into the flywheel gear. I did manage to use the tool as an anvil to hold a modified pry bar against the flywheel. My engine is coded 6RHR* version H. This tool does not fit. Good value for the correct engine though.

    Sealey flywheel locking tool

    Very small both in lenght 50mm, in depth 26mm and it's slot 10mm. Don't quite understand its use as it could not take a typical bell housing bolt. I am not sure it's capable of reaching the drive plate of my engine. Idea good but too tiny. f it was twice the size it might be of use to lock a flywheel of a typical car. See image.
