    For the cost, it's a handy bit of kit that is a bit easier to use that just holding the plug against metal, which I've done for 50 years. I got it to try and verify that my chainsaw had a spark when the plug was actually under compression as it was defying every effort to start it. The tester probably would allow you to see ignition related misfires while an engine is running and you don't need to remove a plug to test.

    Small lightweight and easy to use, great item

    A must item to have handy in the car it make it easier to check these faulty spark plugs and ignition coils, without that it will make it very difficult to determine which one is faulty.

    Good product and worked well

    Good quality arrived on time have used it and found it to be very useful when trying to find out why my PB250 Echo blower didn't start. Turns out the ignition coil had gone the way of the Dodo. Once replaced I used the spark plug tester again and this time it indicated a spark was being generated. This saved me having to replace the on/off switch which I was going to do if I hadn't purchased this product.

    Does What it Says on the Tin

    It was a great tool for confirming HT. But I made the mistake of leaving it fitted to the plug whilst I looked for other reasons why the outboard would not start. When I removed it the motor started. As if it was consuming power to the plug.
