Excellent quality for the price............
Loaded the Shakespeare Agility 20 FD reel with Daiwa Sensor 4 lb. monofilament line and matched it up with an 'Abu Devil' 5ft. 6in. ultralight rod. Only used it for one fishing session so far, but it feels beautifully smooth to use, and it is well built and feels solid in construction. There is no backlash on the anti-reverse mechanism, and no free play on the bail arm rotor (which you can sometimes get on reels costing 3 or 4 times the price of this one) This demonstrates that the bearings used in the reel must be of a reasonably good quality. Hopefully, this reel will give a few years of good service, used with occasional maintenance. Overall, I would say that this bit of kit is excellent value for money, well made and smooth in use, and I would recommend it as a good purchase.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New
