Excellent quality strong general purpose glue. I needed some glue to stick velcro onto fabric, spent ages looking at different glue options and reviews before settling on E6000. Its really effective and has produced really strong glued joints. Certainly more than adequate for my needs. Buy these bigger tubes, although less common they are much better value than smaller ones. On the packaging it does give grave warnings about not getting it on you or breathing in the vapours. I used the glue in a room and then left the room afterwards and wore disposable gloves during the gluing process. With these simple protections it was fine to use. My only criticism is that there's no nozzle on the tube so it comes straight out in quite thick pipes. I'd wished there was a screw on nozzle but I guess it would quickly get jammed up with dried glue so maybe that's why one isn't supplied. Applying the glue straight from the tube works OK, its not not as precise as a nozzle would have been.Read full review

horribly poisonous, typical for products coming out of the U.S. thank god it has to have a warning label on it BY LAW , so at least you know where you stand when buying it. Would recommend wearing an organic filtered mask when using it. Will extend your skate shoes for at least a couple more vert sessions although your shoes after applying this repair will make you look like a tramp.

I have reviewed Shoe Goo before, I find it invaluable to repair favourite old shoes. It is so much cheaper in the States, how the price is as high over here beats me. However it can do a very good job, which makes it worth it, if used correctly. Preparation is the key to shoe goo doing a successful job. Any trace of grease, dirt or contamination on the area the SG is to adhere too will result in a premature failure of the repair. Likewise don't expect it to stick a split, in a sole, for instance, where it has been caused by the sole flexing. To cure that kind of problem with SG needs a substantial enough SG filling, so its the SG that does the flexing, in the future use of the shoe/boot. This means it will probably will take 2 or 3 days of repeated applications as the amount needed in these circumstances means the SG needs repeated applications. As it dries it shrinks somewhat. I have found grinding with a mini drill grinder provides a good keying surface. Hope this helps all you shoo gooers out there...good Gooing!..Read full review

Shoe Goo is far and away the best repairing product I have ever used. Extends the life of shoes and trainers enormously. The trouble with shoes though is that they are by definition dirty - it is absolutely essential to get the soles clean to make sure that the Show Goo sticks. Use it to rebuild heels by putting electrical tape round to hold the glue in place. Use for the middle of the sole by keeping the shoe horizontal and allowing the glue to spread. Use to stick bits together, which you will need to clamp until the glue dries. Works best if shoes and the glue are warm, around 20degC

It stuck one of the soles on my brass band shoes back on. Very easy to use, have tested them no problems. Saved me having to buy a new pair.
