This lens is quite an old design I believe and lacks image stabilization. Fitted on a Canon, the auto focus works fine and the image is very sharp, similar to the equivalent Canon zoom lens. Unfortunately, it is not compatible with the Sigma APO 2x extender as the rear element sticks out too far.

An excellent lens at a good price. I look forward to many hours of phoogaphy with this versatiles lens.

For £30 I was not expecting great things from this lens, no Image stabilisation for a start and not the fastest AF either. Given these limitations, the results are impressive as long as it is not 300mm at f 5.6. Stopped down to f8 is better and it is awesome from 70-200mm even at full aperture.

If your trying to get togather a few lenses on a budget this is a great lens for less than have the price you will pay for a genuine Canon lens and you will get just as good clear sharp images, just beware of the AF/M button that tend to get a bit stiff on some lenses.

A solid lens for it's price. Very versatile handling a fairly good range. The images are generally fairly sharp, but the lack of anti-shake means you'll either need a fast shutter or a tripod for the sharpest photos.
