Product Information

Sikaflex sealant is a multi-purpose adhesive made specifically for use on vehicle parts. The one-part polyurethane-based flexible sealant makes an excellent glue for fixing window rubbers, roof lights, and awning rails, among other vehicle parts. It is quick to dry on exposure to atmospheric moisture and is thus a durable elastomer with high adhesive strength. The product contains 300ml of sealant and is white in colour.

Fantastic sealant that's easy to apply, sticks to all sound substrates and totally durable.
Great, easy adhesion to all plastics, wood and metal substrates, where it touches it sticks to and is easily smoothed over to that perfect concave profile. The Sikaflex 512 is a better adhesive but difficult to profile. this 221 really is a great replacement for a more expensive alternative product.

This stuff is pretty good. I’ve been using it on a recent fibreglass project and it adheres the pieces together very nicely…the only drawback is that it takes so long to cure…24-48 hours….if time isn’t a factor then this stuff seems great. Fortunately I’ve just stuck my pieces and left them for another day to work on.

Been using this for twenty years on & off. Brilliant strong stuff. Worth the extra over the normal diy stuff - lots of data a available on the web. My latest was fixing alloy angle brackets onto concrete posts (without drilling holes ) to carry vine wires.
