Very good value for the price. Attractive unit. Light output is okay. My only complaint is that you have to remove 4 very small screws on the bottom of the unit to get to the battery compartment where the On/Off switch is located. My unit was shipped with the switch in the Off position. So after mounting the unit to the wood 4 x 4 post I found out it was not working that evening-no light output. So the next day I had to remove the mounting screws and then disasemble the unit by removing the 4 very small phillips head screws on the bottom of the unit. With the bottom panel removed, I could see the ON/OFF switch which I turned to ON. I put the unit back together and remounted it to the post and it works fine. I probably would not purchase again, because it's just too labor intensive. If you don't have the proper very small screwdriver you will not be able to remove the bottom panel. I just happen to have alot of tools, but I would imagine alot of people would not have this type of screwdriver.Read full review

It only lites up for 2 or 3 hours. We put a new rechargeable battery in it. I have this on my mail box so every time someone puts mail in the box you can hear the lamp shake. We glued that down. The lamp is made with thin plastic, not very strong. In bad weather, even with the lamp glued down, I think the top, which contains the led lite and battery, will blow off.

The light was great until the 2nd night it quit working. I contacted company and they dont respond right away but they did respond and they were confused about why it doesnt work. I found out the battery compartment didnt hold battery well so I used a piece of cardboard and wedged it in, seems to be fine now :(
