A cheap safety item thats worth every penny.
I use this in my garden for my pressure washer and mower (at different times) as I don't have a fixed external electrical supply. Its easy to use and IS splash proof. The only down side is that it lacks a clip for storage purposes when not in use. You do need to be dexterous to open it and to lock it closed. Would not buy another
Purchased this for xmas light connection outside.Badly designed as where the plastic retail hanger comes out of it, it has bent the rubber seal, thus making it hardly splash proof....also did not close properly at the same end. Did it's job, but had to be placed under a shelter, so defeated the object of buying it...

I got this as my plug socket for my washing machine is under the sink and I had a leak so it was getting wet and kept tripping out my electric this as made a great difference not my plug not getting wet so happy with it it was a great buy and a great price would recommend if you need to stop your plugs from getting wet

Good waterproof housing
Excellent product. Despite a very wet Christmas period my outside lights stayed lit and I have just taken them down. Looking inside the housing it is perfectly dry as are the ext.lead socket and lights plug. A very cost effective way of safely extending electricity outside in all weathers.
