Excellent well built staple / nail gun. Adjustable power for different types of base material. Can staple or nail into wood or other soft based structure in order to make repairs or to fix things together in order to stabilise them. Useful for upholstery work and general woodworking as it can fire nails deep enough to secure spindles on chairs or stairs. It is a good solid piece of kit and you are assured of the quality of your work when you pull the trigger. The solid 'clunk' as you staple or nail tells you that you have done another good job.

Overall the product was a little disappointing, however I did manage to use it throughout the project I was undertaking. On a plus point it is light weight, ergonomically easy to use, well made and good value for money. My reason for the low rating is that, on average, one in every three times I pressed the trigger there was no response which became frustrating. I repeatedly found myself changing the angle of the gun, opening up the staple compartment to check for jams and switching it off to try to get it to work. But with perseverance I eventually achieved what I set out to do and got a satisfying result.

My first one of these packed up after firing the fourth staple. Fortunately I had bought from a good supplier and they exchanged it. The second one packed up after a couple of hundred staples (three dining chair seat pads). Exchanged again. The third one packed up yesterday, just before I'd finished the sixth chair. I see from Captain Mainwairing's review that he had similar problems, stripped the gun and fixed it by remaking some of the electrical connections. I'm going to try that because the pandemic came between chairs three and four so I daren't ask for another exchange. But even if I can fix it, the build quality is just not good enough. It's cheap, sturdy and easy to use, and it has plenty of power when it works. But I can't recommend it. Added info after I stripped the gun. Build quality is excellent; must've been improved since Capt Mainwaring's review. My problem was the microswitch was no longer operating. I bent the piece of spring steel that operates it and the gun now works. For how long, I can't say. So: good build quality, poor component; and I still can't recommend it. It's a tricky assembly job, so only tackle it if you're experienced. You'll need a proper T10 screwdriver, not just one of the interchangeable bits.Read full review

Good thing I'm a competent home electrician. It looks good and well designed and worked perfectly for the first of six chairs I was recovering. Then the trigger stopped working, disassembly followed. Three issues emerged. The wires to the trigger were loose, intermittent contact, the sensor for microswitch was positioned wrongly, again intermittent contact. Finally the metal blade that impels the staple was jamming on the guide/guard which had a rough finish and needed refinishing. Having fixed all that it is now an excellent piece of kit, badly let down by poor assembly! Really can't recommend it!

getting into the wrapped up stapler proved difficult. even using scissors to cut the plastice cover was tough. had to be careful not to cut myself on sharp plastice edges. was also disappointed to find that no starter staples or nails were included. i had to rush out to the local diy store in a storm getting soaked and cold. however the gun itelf is worth the money does the job well its easy to use no complicated instructions. instructions are in tiny print could do with being bigger. all in all pleased with purchase and it will get plenty of use.
