Product Information

From Wilesco comes this D2 Stationary Steam Engine. This is the smallest in the Wilesco range, with the base plate of 70 x 70 mm, a height of 120mm, and a weight of 299g. The engine is heated by a beeswax candle which moves the filigree oscillating cylinder up and down and drives the flywheel. The boiler capacity lasts approximately 30 minutes. It is not recommended for children without adult supervision.

Great Little Engine
The little engine that could! This little machine has rekindled my love for steam, watching it spin around under the power of a candle has made me remember happy times as a kid playing around with my Meccanno set and Mamod Engine. Build quality is great, as are the instructions. Supplied with oil and the candle, all you need to get going, just add water:-)
