Great scanner, worked first time, could link it to my phone to find out what problem was. Don't usually write these reviews but this was very reasonably priced and easy to use. Recommend.

I had a similar unit which I had used for a couple of years without any problems until the bluetooth connection started getting flaky. I put it down to the age of the unit and decided to buy another as they are so cheap. The new unit paired without problem however the next few days I had random warning / errors with my car management system. Everything from Hybrid system error ( I have a Prius) to ABS/brake system errors. Unplugging the device made the errors go away, car has been fine since so I do not think it was a coincidence.

Tried this scanner with two cars and several different apps and it wouldn't connect. Some of the OBD2 apps warn about cheap scanners claiming to be ELM327 2.1 not working and they were right. Seller accepted a return but at my cost. Save up and get a better one.

Simple to use and works a treat, Download the "Torque" app onto your Android phone, Plug the scanner into your car reader port, turn on ignition and pair the scanner with your phone using Bluetooth and away you go. Would recommend to anyone.
