don't buy. stick with lower superfish filters..
i got this as an upgrade as I had a superfish 200. but compared it's awful. u can't access the propella to clean so u can't clean. the top part is a solid unit. the wire from plug only allowed the electricity to go Thu when it was at a certain angle. ( it I would have just rewired the plug) it's really noisy. it does the job of filtering the water etc. but it got to a point I had to turn it off, ( I was setting up tank for fish to move from small tank into bigger tank with s.f 400 filter. ) way too loud . checked everything that could b wrong still loud. I found taking off the pipes at the front stops the noise hell of a lot. and u can't then get water to break on the surface as if u life unit out of water a teeny bit the propella doesn't work. so the tubes to digest water flow have to be ... i got this as an upgrade as I had a superfish 200. but compared it's awful. u can't access the propella to clean so u can't clean. the top part is a solid unit. the wire from plug only allowed the electricity to go Thu when it was at a certain angle. Very poor quality.
Great price but quality not so good! this is a very noisy filter, the spraybar cracked when I joined the two parts together, the spraybar flew off when the flow was on high. Wouldn't buy this filter again.

Buy cheap by twice
Pump is very noisy, and the suckers aren't strong enough to hold it. Used for a week and every morning the pump would be sat at the bottom of the tank, and couldn't bear the noise. Bought a premium pump instead £50 but worth it for the silence
