Wish we had tried these first.
Bought for my 94 year old mum. She prefers these to the ones she used before because they have a much better fit around the legs. She also says they are very comfortable feeling a lot lighter. She only uses them at night and so far so good no leaks. They are a little on the expense side but if she is happy with them I'm happy to pay the extra. She has had to use pants for about the last year now and if we were just starting out I would bypass the cheaper ones altogether and go straight to these.Bought for my 94 year old mum. Tens pants Maxi
Perfect for my elderly mother. They are just like normal pants, but a bit thicker. Tena pants help retain a little dignity for elderly people who have become incontinent. She needs the Maxi ones now which have the highest absorbency. When first using them she was able to pull them up and down just like normal knickers. They gave her a safety barrier if she leaked a bit before she got to the loo. Now she is in a care home it means she still retains some dignity and isn’t sitting all wet. The Tena pants stop that from happening. I’m not sure how she would cope without them tbh.Perfect for my elderly mother. They are just like normal pants, but a bit thicker. Maxi combined with Regular grades.
We have been using your "regular" grade satisfactorily for a year or so but now overnight leakage has become a problem. Wearing the "Maxi" grade at bedtime has contained the flow. They are a little bulky which is not a problem in bed but still use the "regular" ones during the day as the look more comfortable and the need for a change is signalled. The wearer has dementia and cannot speak but seems content with Tenas used in this way. Highly recommended.
