Keen to experiment, I've already tried three different things in this pan so far, and it's performed brilliantly each time. The ridged cooking surfaces will not stop you from frying eggs or baking pancakes! I tried pizza first, which was at room temperature to start with. I cut it in half, and folded each half over to get two 'sandwiches', which fitted nicely in opposite corners. I used my little camping stove on a VERY low heat, and turned the grill pan over every four minutes or so. Altogether it took me less than 25 minutes, the same time it would have taken an oven, as that would have needed preheating, but I used much less fuel! The cheese on the 'inside' was fully melted, and the base was crisp (I didn't use any oil). It does fabulous fried eggs too! For this I heated a little coconut oil in the grill pan (on higher heat than pizza, but not extremely high), and then added the egg when I thought it was hot enough. The white started running into the grooves, but soon stopped as it solidified quickly. I decided not to mess with it with my spatula, and just closed the pan until all the white was cooked (no need to flip or baste!). I didn't even need the spatula to get it out, as it just slid out nicely, and all in one piece. Some lovely crispy bits (the grooves actually helped with that), and a perfect runny yolk. :-) Next I wanted to see if this would do (thin) pancakes, and it does! Make sure the top is sufficiently dry before flipping the pan and, if necessary, use a spatula to loosen the outer edges somewhat so the pancake lets go when you turn the pan over. (For the batter I used roughly 100g flour, 2 eggs and 300 ml milk, plus a little salt. And I only used a tiny bit of oil for the first one.)Read full review

These arrived a day early and the quality of them is outstanding. I am SO impressed for the money. Even the cases are superb quality with even a sleeve built in for the detachable handle which is also very robust and screws to pan rather than some press in button that you know is gonna break and all the food tip on the floor lol Can’t wait to try them out, but just by the weight and manufacture and cost I know they are gonna be fantastic. Highly recommended

Looks to be similar to Ridgeway product. But cheaper to buy. Only used once, and cooks and cleans fine. Time will tell if coatings degrade. I like that the pans come complete with covers. Used in my VW Campervan.
