The RE360 is relatively simple to set up as the manual gives you two choices of method. Once set up, you can move it around to get the best position. The App lets you do some superficial things like renaming it and setting the LEDs to a schedule, in addition to viewing connected devices. Things I like: I haven't lost a socket - the RE360 has one built it Things I didn't like: The 2.4 & 5GHz networks are separate; my router handles them both on the same SSID, so why can't this? I'm making more use of the 2.4GHz network (which is lower bandwidth but goes through walls better) so I left this on the main SSID, with the 5GHz network having a different SSID. If you want to connect to the 5GHz SSID network, you have to manually connect your device to it but with the main network and the RE360's 2.4GHz network having the same SSID, you can move around the house without reconnecting. That said, I would probably buy one again and would recommend itRead full review

It is very difficult to get the items to synchronize and the instructions are very poor. I assume that as they are very popular they are effective if you can get them working. I have contacted the support but the reply was also difficult to understand. I am currently not using them but when the mood takes me I may have another try.

Device is easy to set up and instructions are easy enough to follow after downloading the app from Google play. I did expect the device to be better however on boosting signal. I have a relatively small apartment and this was bought to help boost the signal down thr hallway so my youngest son had fewer drop outs when gaming, so far every day the signals fall and the game kicks you off, this is no different than before having the device.

Purchased TP link RE360 to extend existing WiFi in home. Wanted it to extend WiFi from powerline adaptor kit(acknowledging this would not pick up from mains power) , was told by TP Link only way was to pair extender using WPS from existing Virgin Media router and that it couldn't be done via extender in adaptor kit. Did this but reason for purchase was the low WiFi from the router. Product may be good but didn't satisfy my requirements. Would be interested for other peoples views please.

Bought to replace another extender that wouldn't link to half of the items it should, this feels and looks the part, quality notably better than other extenders, but doesnt extend vertically very well. I have a fire stick 25 ft away on same floor and to be fair it does improve that signal. But I have a PC up stairs 20 ft away and improvement is negligible and inconsistent.
