A very good book, but you really need a magnifying glass to look at the maps clearly. Although they are printed very well, they are a bit on the small side to see the fine detail properly with normal eyesight. Apart from that, its an excellent and official document of where property was bombed out and landing sites where V1's and V2's came down on the capital. When I walk down my local streets I can see the rebuilding evidence of old bomb sites that were rebuilt over the last 70 years or so. I now see London in a different way, where streets once were and some buildings that now exist that now have names related to old disappeared streets that I wouldn't have any clue of their named connection.

A fascinating compilation of the locations of the bombing effects on London during the Blitz - enabling street by street research regards the effects of the bombing and London population as a whole. A well produced book with sound binding and good map and photo reproduction.
