    Inspirational read

This book ws recommended to me to read and I was a bit doubtful because of the title. But once started I had to finish right to the end. The women characters are so strong and although live in a region where women are second class, they manage to rise above this and the stories have been so beautifully written. It is a fiction book but when you read, you can just imagine what life must have been like for these women. I laughed and felt incredibly sad throughout but this did not deter me from finishing. I would recommend this book to anyone who is an avid reader of something a bit different from true romance.
