Troulblesome setup, audio problems...
The product is very well packaged, looks great and the hardware is of very hight quality. The only problem is that it has no windows 10 integration - meaning that it is not plug and play as it says on the package and the manufacturers site. After downloading and instaling a huge (~400 mb) software bundle with the bluetooth driver Windows 10 recognises and installs the device with no problem. After that adding devices and copying data is really smooth, good signal, good transfer rate, excellent range, tested with bluetooth wireless keyboard works great. The only problem and the reason I can't reccomend this item is big problems with audio quality for wireless music playback, apsolutely terrible i have tried with JBL wireless head phones, JBL Charge wireless speaker and logitech wireles ... Works great, but can be a pain on Win 10
This is a great little dongle. I use if for aptx headphones and the sound quality is great and range is fairly good. But... Oh my days this had so many setup issues on Win 10. The drivers for this are fairly old and there haven't been any newer ones since. Seems it has a number of driver related issues on Win 10, especially if headphones have a mic. So in summary, great little dongle once you get past potential Win 10 related setup gremlins.This is a great little dongle.
