I had recently purchased a Spigen Tough Armor case for my iPhone 6. I love the design! Well fast forward to my dusting off the bike for riding season and realizing my bike computer was dead. I got an app called Strava to replace it (works great!) but now I needed to mount my phone to my bike. Based on how nice the Spigen case is for my phone, I sought out a Spigen mount for the bike. I got this mount based on the reviews and I am super-impressed! It works great! Highly recommended!

I used this mount with my Nexus 6p every few days for a few months. It worked fine, the silicone stays kept it secure and in place, my phone never fell off or out, even on my very bumpy roads. But yesterday I noticed it was wobbling in the cradle while in my bike. The piece connected to the ball joint just broke somehow, while I was riding. No idea how it happened.

Based on the other reviews I thought I'd give it a try. Yep, as suspected it's yet another cheap plastic gimmick. I wasn't expecting much for the price and wasn't disappointed. The clamp that attaches to the handlebars had to be tightened so much to hold, the plastic distorted heavily and will fail. The finger nut that is designed to tighten to the plastic ball swivel on the phone mount will only put slight pressure before "popping" off the threads, thus the position of the phone cannot be held in place. The silicon rubber band will hold the phone to the mount, but the inability to tighten the mount allows the phone to move around constantly. If you are planning on trying to use this with a mountain bike or anything like a motorcycle that has vibration or road bumps, forget it bros. The search continues...Read full review

While the setup is fairly easy to manage, the plastic ring that you screw to tighten and secure the angle and placement of the phone can easily strip. Once phone is mounted, it does feel secure from falling, but it will not stay in place and changes position easily. It is a case of cheap quality parts getting in the way of a sound design. Would rate 5 stars if it was built a little more heavy duty. Overall, I guess I got what I paid for... a cheap phone mount.

Good design and quality for the price. Mounted on motorcycle easy and allows for easy change of different devices. Holds cell phone securely in place.
