I have purchased the above mono pod to take the weight of my shoulders when standing around with a Canon 5d Mk3 and a 100-400 zoom. The combination gets very heavy after a while. This item was purchased 'as new' and it was , totally pristine from this supplier. The unit is well made and feels a luxury item. The feet are ok a little wider might be useful, they lock very securely into position.. The only slight down side that i can see, so far, having only used it in doors in that the base has a locking ring to allow the nonopod to move independently of the the three legs, a great feature for shooting moving things, however when you tighten the ring to stop this movement there is still some movement in the mono pod , it doesn't lock completely solidly, making a heavy camera move about.- tripod type stillness unavailable. But it is a monopod and its capable of carrying my heavy Canon camera and big 100-400 lens easily, when using the connection on the lens. A heavy zoom lens would cause the monopod to fall over, with the feet open, if the connection was on the camera body. All inal I would recommend this Monopod as it looks great, carries a heavy weight (many do not). I will use it for Speedway shots and taking into stately homes, as the lighting is often poor and a simple support is advantageous and less cumbersome than a tripod. Only the movement in the base stops it getting 5 starsRead full review

A question on stability that I could answer after my purchase and using for a few days in Iceland is that you can adjust the bottom to stabilise the monopod stick but only when the monopod isn’t being extend to be the longest. It can be set to be stable when the stick is a bit short. Overall, I am satisified with the quality and would recommend it.
