I wanted a tough machine to mix dough and read a lot of reviews, settling on this machine because I didn't need all the bells and whistles of those costing many times as much. The first one arrived with a damaged cover, but Domu were absolutely BRILLIANT and fast replacing it. I haven't experienced service of this standard in a long time, and this alone would make me look at the company again. The machine is stable, not too loud and mixed my 1 kilo sourdough bread dough really well and quickly. I'm delighted and will be able to find other heavy mixing jobs for it, I'm sure. Really good value; really good service; excellent performance: what's not to like?

Hopefully this mixer will "do the job" as it did work on taking it out of the box. However, it is far from quiet, as advertised. Other makes have been much quieter. Maybe it is just this one mixer? But the noise from it is far too loud. (IMO) I have not used it fully yet, but the omen is not looking good. (hence 3 stars)

After much research we chose this machine for it's quietness, price and stylish looks. We have not been disappointed so far. Not found any difficulty using the machine so far and it fairly cuts down prep time. Mixing bowl has very useful handle. It is also pretty quiet compared to our previous mixer which was smaller.

I am absolutely thrilled with my VonShef stand mixer. It is easy to operate and is surprisingly powerful. The bowl is a generous size and the design of the lid makes it easy to add ingredients while the mixer is running. The only thing I would change is the lowest speed. I think it could be a lot slower. However, for the price, this mixer is fantastic!

Easy to use. Sonic speeds. Bought primarily to make butter, for which it could be better designed, with closer contact with sides, or a special whisk attachment. Splash guard leaks buttermilk. Great for the price.
