I guess this product is maybe similar to others on the market but not having one for many years it doesn't suit my requirements personally but no doubt ok for others. I don't have a plug to plug it into near where I need it situated in the kitchen, I have to plug it into an extension lead from a plug. there is no on/off button on the machine hence I have to insert and pull plug to extension lead to start it and turn it off, far from ideal, so for me, I have only used it a couple of times since purchasing. One further point to make and again maybe the same with other models, the inside plates could do with being made bigger, full size slices of sliced bread the edges of the slices are outside the machine when closed, hence don't toast. honest opinion of my own personal views. Ideal For Small Spaces!
Excellent price! Ready to operate straight out of the box. It heats up quickly and cooks evenly on all sides. The reasons I knocked off a star: 1. It CAN be a bit tricky to clean some of the tiny crevices around the edges as I don't think the plates can be removed for cleaning. 2. It can only accommodate smaller, square slices of bread if using it to make TWO toasties, otherwise one edge of the second toastie doesn't get toasted. 3. The "cutter" part of the plates only "scores" the sandwich, but does not cut it in half. Overall though, I am very pleased with my sandwich maker! Thank you! :0}Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Yes, arrived on time and well packaged, yes, compact but too compact I fear, you have to cut all the crusts off the bread before placing in the device. Easy to clean, yes. However, not all that impressed, because Instructions were rubbish in that they left out a very important point, namely, how long to leave the bread/sandwich in the device.
