For a camera that is over ten years old, it can't be beat!!! Don't let it only having only 4MP fool ya. It's quality and shape make it easy on your hands and not like "bar of soap" shape current cameras you see nowadays. Grab one and see. Having a couple of 128mb memory cards sure helps and an extra set of rechargeable AAs makes the perfect out fit if you can get one at a good auction price.
The older Olympus cameras that were made in Japan are far superior then the low quality (China) cameras being sold today. This camera has excellent optics and support a very fast f1.8 lens. Camera has a multitude of mode settings for the more advanced photographer or just use the automatic mode for those not so advanced. Easy to use and has proved to be a long life camera.

sINCE I own a few of the c-3000 series, c4000 series I can spill the beans on these great cameras. When they where made they had to match the 35mm SLR performance but with a fixed lens. True color and real life photos. But these where better because if you didn't like the shot, just delete with out the processing fees. That was the selling point, save money. Automatic point n shoot or manual for the professional wannabe. there is a learning curve so if you love you iphone roll on, but great pics at a cheap(NOW it is, I paid over $400 for the 1st one) price, the search is over.
