Item arrived within 2 days of placing the order. Seller and courier kept me fully updated. The HP hose end is 1/2 inch BSP male thread so easily connected to copper pipe with a suitable connector. Pressurised the pipework to 7 bar on the gauge. Could have gone higher. Pressure maintained without loss. Simple but effective bit of kit for testing water and heating pipes. Spare seals included. Unbelievably low price. Excellent seller, very happy with my purchase. Thank you.

Good bit of kit for the money and delivered very quickly with excellent communication from the seller. Lessons I learned... Start at 2 bar and let all the fittings stretch out if using PEX. Top back up to 2 bar after a few minutes and leave for 10 mins. Then repeat at 10 bar. You will need to buy a 1/2" BSP push fit tap connector or similar.

    Great value for DIY underfloor heating testing

    Purchased to test my newly-installed underfloor heating system. Couldn't justify spending £80+ on a test pump from a UFH supply store when I was only going to use it once, and I'm glad I didn't because this pump worked very well. The only thing that would make it better is if it came with a 1/2" BSP female to 3/4" BSP female adapter so it could connect directly onto the 3/4" BSP male thread of my UFH system. In the end I used a combination of applicance hoses and flexible tap tails I had lying around to connect it up correctly, but it worked fine and didn't leak.

    Good value

    For occasional use I think this product does a good job, at the price. If I was soldering everyday then maybe a German brand would be the choice at much higher price and quality. This one works for me, it doesn't hold the pressure completely, I guess it's leaking back through the pump, but that's not a problem when you can inspect the soldered joints for water leaks, and keep topping up the pressure.
