Very Handy little book, packed with lots of good advice and useful tips. many riverside pubs and restaurants are listed along with maps showing interesting places to visit. Also shows height of bridges etc. rather useful if your cabins/superstructure is taller than purpose built broads cruiser and your height from waterline to top (air draft) is, like my boat, more than six foot so at high water you might NOT get under some bridges and may have to wait untill Low tide before attempting. Very useful when planning a trip. All in all, a wise investment if you intend to visit the Norfolk Broads I know I am glad I bought mine!! Steve

I had to write a review as this book is so dissapointing. The general boating information is fine, but not specific to the broads. There is plenty of general tourist information if you can't find it elsewhere. The maps beggar belief and are no use at all for navigating which is what I thought the book was about. You will need a map of something like 1:25,000 to go with it, so my advice would be to find a better guide, or spend the money on the OL40 Explorer Map of the Broads and don't bother with this, unless you particularly want pictures of birds and boats and a few pub names. Given the Collins and Nicholson name its really surprising, I can't believe their other guides are as poor as this.

so easy to use this book with the binder format so you can turn the page with ease and it stays open a credit

Thus gives a good idea of all the issues when taking a boat on the Broads and where to go. Good maps but one sheet map to go with it would be a must.
