    These are great, Really saves your back when it comes to turning off lights at night and especially at Christmas for all those lights and decks. Have also used these in am dram productions for turning stage affects on and off.

    Random remote pick up

    I installed this socket in accordance with the instructions. It worked very well,with the remote switching the socket on and off correctly. Unfortunately the socket would then activate by itself - presumably picking up a signal from somewhere else. I would go out with the socket off, and when I returned home, the socket would be on. I tried using the different settings/buttons on the remote, but this had no effect and the socket would still turn itself on/off randomly. In the end I abandoned the socket and put it in a drawer.

    Easy to use remote switch

    This is a replacement for a similar unit that failed after many years service. I like being able to switch on remotely, so no more bending down to get to the socket switch. However should the batteries in the remote run down and replacements not to hand the unit has its own manual switch. It is easy to set up following the instructions provided.

    Simple and effective

    If you have furniture covering a socket that you have to pull out to switch off the socket this is the answer. This model controls up to 4 sockets individually or all at once. I use mine to switch off the childrens bedroom sockets from the bottom of the stairs, each socket at different times, without leaving my sofa - perfect.
