Not sure if the wood has been pressure treated, so it may not last long in the elements. I gave mine a full treatment with preservative just to make sure. A bit disappointed with the planter inserts They are black plastic and have holes in the bottom to let out excess water. This will go straight into the wooden bases and accelerate any rot. I suggest replacing these with a removable pot in the base, and leave the bucket empty as the fixed handle stops easy removal. When I built mine, two of the screws that hold the roof to the crosspiece split the wood. This would ideally need pilot holes drilling before you assemble it. I had to drill from the side and put a small bolt through to force it back together. Having fixed all that, it is sturdy and looks lovely and very reasonably priced. With a bit of extra work, it should last quite a few years outside, and of course, indefinitely if it were kept in a conservatory etc.Read full review

Looks nice but not great quality , bottom of planter sits lose rather than flush with sides and wood on roof warped/splitting already. I've put plants in and put fairy lights on , looks nice but had I seen it properly before purchase I wouldn't have paid that price for the quality.
