Sound product but some features of the S5 MAX are not yet available
It's a great toy, it works as it should and it does most of what it's there to do efficiently. There are a couple of things to note though. The MiHome app and/or the Roborock app do not yet have compatibility with Google Home so you cannot control this using voice commands through Google Home. Also, the multiple floor option within maps is not yet a feature of the app. I presume that these will happen in time but it's frustrating for now. It also lacks a carry handle for when you're moving this from one floor to the next. Excellent robot hoover
I am very pleased with this robot hoover, it is working great. The navigation and mapping features work well even though we have a lot of clutter around, at places narrowing the space to navigate to only 50-60 cm. I drove the robot (in remote control mode) around once in all rooms to have the map populated in app on my phone. After that I've set up the invisible walls to lock out certain areas, setup the order of rooms and it was all done. Started the robot, watched it go around (the first 3 times) to see it is coping well overall. Thanks to the underside brush and strong suction it cleans even the carpet at our entrance door, which was always a problem (even when we manually hoover it with a proper mains powered hoover). Despite the suction power it is not as loud as one might expect it (I run it on 'Turbo'). I find cleaning the dust bin a bit tedious, the dust and fluff tends to stick into the filter and it takes a fair bit of time to properly get cleaned out with the included brush (then again it may be not necessary to clean it fully as I do all the time). This is also a testament of the suction power in my opinion. The only problems so far I've come across were: It is not able to start where I've placed the dock. This is not an issue with the product, just a bad placement, something I can't address at my place due to all the furniture and clutter. No big deal, as I empty/clean the dust bin just before running the robot anyways. All I need to do is: grab the robot from it's dock, put it in the middle of the room (empty the dust bin) and short press the power button. After that it does it's job perfectly. It got stuck once on the foot of my wife's chair. The chair has a long almost S shaped wood starting as the feet curving up as armrest and ending as the back support. One day the robot managed to 'climb' onto this wooden foot piece and got stuck as the wood is thick enough to reach the robot's bottom, while the wheels are not longer reaching the ground properly. I've added an invisible wall to where the feet of the chair are and so far there where no further problems (we do not move the chair around obviously). Overall I am very pleased with this robot hoover, it cleans great, not very loud, takes a lot less time to clean, than my previous robotic hoover. Before this I only had a Haier T321, which is not the same price bracket and thus not a fair comparison basis, however it is my only prior experience with robotic hoovers. Amazing
I’ve had a high end robot cleaner for years and decided it was time to treat myself to a new one. I was left gob smacked between the difference of my old robot cleaner and this new one. The new one is so intelligent compared to my old one, that it feels like the old one was developed in the Stone Age. As the old one cleaned by randomly bashing it’s way around the house, the new cleaner creates a perfect plan of every room and precisely works it’s way through each room. With the free app, you can precisely control how and where you want the cleaner to go and not go. In addition to the hovering ability of this cleaner, it also does a pretty good job of mopping the floors too. Best robot vacuum I have used
This robot vacuum is brilliant. It’s my 3rd robot and it is far better than the others. The phone app to control it shows the map it has learnt. I can tell it where to start cleaning eg if I want it to clean the kitchen, etc. I also use Alexa to tell the vacuum to start cleaning. It has stronger suction than others I have had but it is quieter. The mop is really good too. I was surprised how good it was. Obviously the vacuum can’t get into corners so I have to check those. Can’t do without one now

Once you try this you will never go back to hoovering
Brilliant vacuum cleaner, does an excellent job on carpets and hard floors. Not tried the mopping function yet. It navigates better than I ever thought any robot can - it will find a way to access every part of the house (even those you think are obstructed) and find its way out of the tightest spots. Worth it
Ive been using this for about a month. Its really an excellent product. Vacuum is i would say at 99% and mop at 90% Very handy and helps alot! Couldn’t recommend more!
Not strong as a usual vacuum cleaner , not good as a usual mob... but it really get a lot of small bits and dust without any effort (just a click on the app) and without spending time cleaning). Can easily be “stored” below a furniture, he finds its way to the dock to charge. I strongly recommend!!!
