For long time Yakuza fans, this game is definitely worth a try
At first the gameplay mechanics may scare a few, but after the first few chapters in you quickly become accustomed to it.
The storyline offers good comparisons to modern day issues and leaves you the player thinking back on these themes. Highly recommend as the new city Yokohama is a good location for the game.
I had never played a Yakuza game before but I love the graphics and comedy /retro arcade elements of the game play and style. But even though you can skip all cut scenes if you do you will miss out on a lot of back story and be pressing skip a LOT.
The fighting style and mini games are a learning curve. If you don't like turn based combat don't buy this game.
But so far it's in my top 3 games which includes Witcher 3.
I can see me playing this for hours and hours I also like the fact there is manual save function I just wish you could save and exit during a dungeon battle at recharge points. So be ca5 if you play this late at night you might want to start early in the even so you can get to bed on time.
