The ZL 7 Element antenna is very easy to set up. The vswr is easily adjustable. I have 1.1:1 on 430MHz. I bought this antenna as I was having trouble connecting with my local UHF DMR repeater with my X300 dual band antenna. Once assembled and mounted and beamed toward the repeater I obtained full signal strength reports with no drop outs. I will also say that I can connect with an analogue UHF repeater in the opposite direction to the beam heading, off the back of the beam, better than I could with the X300. This antenna is very small an neat and unobtrusive. I purchased this antenna half price on one of the suppliers weekend deals so it was an absolute bargain for me but would be just a bargain at full price.
