I bought a used 2008 Anniversary Gretsch G5120T for a nice price. The saddles on the TOM bridge were worn, so I took a chance and bought the Rocking Bar bridge. Installation was easy. There is a video on how to set the intonation for this bridge. Secured the bridge using painter's tape and tape from a window insulation kit. There's a video for that too. Once the strings settled in, the 5120 stays in tune with improved intonation, though results may vary. Gretsch guitar, went with a Gretsch replacement. Couldn't be happier.

This replaced the stock factory Adjustomatic (individual steel saddles) on my Gretsch 5422 walnut guitar. Mainly this was to free up strings when using the Bigsby vibrato. Genuine Gretsch product nicely plated. Very solid piece of metal with ebony base Fits right over previous bridge spot which is held in place by tiny threaded nubs that can be removed or screwed down flush. Remember, this Gretsch bridge needs to float (string pressure keeps it in place) and move sightly to intonnate properly. Great Seller!

bridge works on my gretsch 5420t but is floating and because of the original pinned bridge location strings were sharp so had to move bridge back a bit and slightly more angled. the two holes on the bottom apparently are if you want to pin this bridge but you will have to drill holes in the top of the guitar. Bridge is now floating but secured on the bottom to guitar top with masking tape and transparent tape on each end of the bridge and string spacing is 2-1/8" versus 2-1/16 " so strings don't line up right over each pole but still sounds good. notes are clearer and brighter but not too harsh. just turned the treble down a bit. hope this helps.

No Gretsch should be played without one of these. A very necessary part of that great Gretsch sound.

This bridge is the quality my Japanese Made Gretsch 6128 needed. The strings all line up perfectly over the pickup poles on the Dynasonic.
