Existing cooker hood uses 28W Halogen bulbs, one of which is blown. Decided to change to LED for longevity (halogens don't last long) and energy saving. Got very confused about identifying the correct bulb but discovered that a 28W halogen is roughly equivalent to a 40W incandescent which is roughly equivalent to these 4W LED. Anyway, bought these ones, took ages discovering how to remove the cooker hood to access the bulbs, fitted the new bulbs - a simple screw in operation - and they are absolutely fine, giving the same light output as the old halogens as far as I can see. An excellent purchase and I'm very pleased with them.

The bulbs are rather larger than other LED appliance lamps. That is not a particular issue but every time I switch them on they flicker for a few seconds until they stabilise. It might be a bad batch but it is very irritating. I can't be bothered to return them but I'll probably swap them out for another brand in the future.

Great quality LED Pygmy Bulb. We use them for our night lights inside our bed frame, and we've been wanting LED ones for a while now. Product fits perfectly and is the correct colour and brightness. As they're LED, they should last for a while and seem much better value than Halogen bulbs too. I would highly recommend these as they're great bulbs so far!

Bulb is just what I wanted. It is fitted in a Display Cabinet in a Holder designed for the good old Cooker Bulbs. However, in this day and age 25W is a lot to be running to show off your Crystal and China, less than a tenth of that much more enviromentally friendly...lovely warm light and no heat generated.

LED elements are somewhat Xmas Treed which helps reduce shadows. Great running costs for the light they output. A month's 24/7 running costs Vs old 40w units almost covers their cost. Also 4 filaments per bulb at this wattage implies they are under driving the LEDs which is more efficient and also leads to longer live. Most bulbs overdrive their LED filaments shortening their lifespan. Time will tell, otherwise they seem a good choice.
