This was a fantastic buy. A fraction of the cost of a new genuine item. You need to know that you will get fault code F.70 when the board is installed and then you have to go through the procedure to tell the board which boiler type it is controlling. Any easy replacement that does not cost an arm and a leg
My boiler vailant ecotec plus 831 have been showing f61 /f62 for almost a year which means every time i need hot water my poor kids need to go upstairs and press reset button only after 30 minute before they need to do again. I watched some videos about pcb may the cause. I decided to have a go at replacing it . So i opened the cage and i did some visual comparison and i order the pcb above ( fits 831 and a couple of other boiler series) After attaching the Plumbay PCB i for error F70 An other quick look again in youtube resolved the problem and water is hot as of when it is needed. Vaillant PCB board
This was a genuine Vaillant part sealed in the box. I installed the item in about 20mins and it worked straight from the box. Just make sure the controls on the front panel and the controls on the pcb board are set in the highest position otherwise you may find your hot water or heating is not getting to temperature. This is nothing to do with the quality of the board it’s just something I found out after I installed it. Fixed my F.61 error
I did some research into the F.61 error that I was getting on my Vaillant ecoTEC Plus 831 combi boiler, and diagnosed it to be a faulty main PCB. After having reset the boiler on numerous occasions (in the end, nearly every day), I decided to take the plunge and purchase a replacement PCB. Great product for excellent price
This PCB saved me a ton of money as I didn’t know if it was a faulty with the gas valve ( F62 code ). Replaced by myself but I would warn anyone without knowledge on pcb settings etc as these sometimes need changing after installation. Fixed the faulty !! Cracking Purchase!
Probably saved about or over £300 buying and fitting this myself. Easy to fit just make sure control dials on bolier are turned fully up and the dials on the new PCB are turned fully up before fitting otherwise your hot water and boiler output temperatures will be all over the place! Good value and could be even better with a copy of installation instructions
