Smooth and fits my hand
The Shub GS-1 is my third slide I bought for my new Duesenberg lap steel. I finally found the one that is easy to hold and hit single notes or full chords without moving in my hand. Lightweight and easy to handle
This slide bar works great for me. I'm over 60 years old and my left hand stays half numb most of the time. I have a problem holding on to an all steel slide bar because of the weight. This slide bar weighs less and the wood part seems to be flared out more to where I can keep hold of it better. I've had a dobro for two years and never learned anything on it because I couldn't hold on to the slide bar. Now with this slide bar I'm able to practice 2 to 3 hours each time I get it out. Great features for beginners and people with dissabilties
