PERFECT ADDITION TO ANY 1911
I put these grips on a Kimber Classic Custom. They fill out the frame circumference perfectly for average to larger hands. The material is non-abrasive, but the front and side panel texturing promotes solid grip control, even with wet hands. Easy to install. Only one minor complaint: the palm swell interferes slightly with thumb access to magazine release. Not a big deal, just have to rotate your hand slightly to reach the release button. Perfect handgun grips.
I have been using Pachmayr grips for 40 years. The signature grips are the perfect grips for a 1911 pistol. They fit the hand perfectly and give the user effective front strap checkering. They are comfortable in the hand and give the user solid purchase on the weapon. I had for these grips on my 1911 for 28 years and after shooting thousands of rounds these grips are like new. I these grips are the best I've used; they fit perfectly in the hand, offer firm grip and firing control better than wood or plastic grips.
