The Canon EF 35-80 mm lens weighs only 176g, making it a very light compact zoom EF lens. As with all of the other EF lenses, it uses the Electro Focus technology: an automatic-focusing system handled by a dedicated electric motor built into the lens. This Canon lens has really compact measurements, the top diameter and length being 6.6cm and 6.35cm, and the aspherical element technology helps the 35-80 mm lens to provide high-contrast quality photos. At the 80 mm focal length, a postcard can fill the viewfinder frame of the Canon EF 35-80 mm, which uses lead-free glass. This Canon lens provides a 1.3-foot closest focusing distance, and its filter's diameter size is 5 centimetres. The 35-80 mm lens utilises a front group rotating extension system with Micromotor, its minimum aperture ranges from F/22 to F/32, and the angle view goes from 63 to 30 degrees.
