Unless you've used one its hard to explain, No other fone is quite like the P300. Small size but small compromise! I love these little fones, they fit snug in a shirt pocket or jean back, and you dont notice it. Feels solid in the hand, has good weight for size and despite the small screen it is quite useable. Too the lay person it may pass of as a retro calculator, which saved me more than once after I left it in a resturant toilet ect Always has full signal even in rural areas, Oh and a full charge will last 3-5 days!

After having a P300 for nearly 2 years I decided to buy a P310, what a big mistke this was. Its not that the P310 is a bad phone its just not as practical as a P300. 1. P310 has a 2 million pixel auto focus camera, sounds great till you try to use it, by the time you press the button and the phone actually takes the picture anything but a brick wall will be totally blurred that’s how slow the focus and how bad the shutter lag is# P300 no auto focus no shutter lag press the button great pictures 2. Battery life oh dear p310 2 days standby (out of case) and if you use the functions mp3 etc you will charge it every single day, and if you keep it in its case its bigger than most of the phones you avoided to get this one in the first place P300 7 days on standby (out of case) 2 days plus if you use it as an mp3 player which you wont because of the small internal memory. 3 P310 screen has better resolution than a P300 but you wont really notice this apart from it drinking your battery up when you’re using it. 4 P310 has external memory God I wish the P300 did Id buy 10 more so I never had to look at another phone again 5 P310 looks better, well to my mind the P300 looks more retro and too me better and if you notice it weighs more for the same size that’s because it’s a far more solid phone it really feels like its made from a solid piece of metal in your hand. I’ve dropped it loads of times and it just keeps on going and nothing dents it. Anyway after a week with the P310 I sold it as quick as I could opened my bedroom drawer and hugged my beuitiful P300 which I will never sell but I might end up marrying it so keep an eye out for us on Jerry Springer:}Read full review
Picked up this phone a few weeks ago now. Paying 80 pounds (used) was a little over the market rate and it arrived just slightly worse condition that expected, even though it was clearly listed as "used". I chose this phone purely for form and not fuction. It's retro calculator styling is really attractive and.....well, it's not to everyones taste. More importantly I've never seen anyone else with one :-) even though they are probably about 12 months old now. I'm not going to list the specs because they are absolutley standard for a phone fof the time.n Samsung's software is good and works well - but lack the intuitive nature of Nokia. A big feature is support for a2dp - which means you can use stereo bluetooth head sets - for hands free and for music - with this device. Brilliant I thought, since my pocket pc won't even do this. This phone however, doesn't have a microSD card slot which is a big and senseless omissions. All the mp3 playing goodness (it starts an mp3 player with a single button press) pretty much goes down the pan because of the lack of space for tunes in the internal memory. Its big miss and I can't fathom why they left it out. Other couple weakspots : below par speaker (not very loud) and it's a little heavy....but I've forgiven it these things for the neat wallet design with an in built extra battery. m Very happy with it in heavy use.Read full review
I purchased this phone through ebay because I like the model and it's general style. After an insurance company (carphone warehouse - lifeline) failed to supply me with a Prada again after it went missing, I decided to take it upon myself to fine a suitable replacement. The only downside that I can see is that it can't ring (as in melody) and vibe at the same time, so it vibes for three rings then melodies there after. Annoying if you service provider only gives you five rings before answer machine. It's got all mod cons and with the extra battery case, will last a good few days. This is one of those beautiful phones that will be in a museum in the future. For the cost of 'life line' insurance, I could buy two of these on here. Never again am I purchasing phone insurance.
