Chain stays clean and quiet
I've used the original R&R Gold this1¹¹ last summer on my MTB and was very pleased. I chose to get Extreme because of the purported all-weather durability. I find the blue stuff to be equivalent in performance to the original, Gold. Chain and drivetrain stay remarkably clean and run quieter. The drawback is that neither product is particularly weatherproof. Even a short ride in rain or through slush filled streets requires a reapplication of the product, which is relatively expensive. Used as directed, a single application may use up to a quarter of the volume of the small applicator bottle. The results, though, are outstanding so I'll continue using Rock&Roll chain lubes.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

I seem to use more of this lube than Muc Off. It’s thin and rather than drip it onto each chain link I liberally squirt it onto the chain while turning the cranks as recommended by the mfgr.
