This lens brings a whole new meaning to landscape photography, as long as you keep in check the built-in effect of extreme barrel distortion. The horizon can only be made flat by keeping it strictly in the centre of the image, whereupon you get fantastic arches of cloud above. Likewise a tall building has to be in the centre of the image and everything else will bend towards it. Surprisingly, it makes quite a good close-up lens for photographing flowers, as long as you keep your feet out of the way.
