I did not know you could paint your kitchen units including the doors. After all the units were still functional. Added new soft close hinges a new worktop and under slung sink. I now have a kitchen that looks brand new. I have saved thousands and enjoyed doing it. Visitors ask me where did l purchase my kitchen. I said it’s simple, it comes out of a tin.

Painted all kitchen cupboards and drawer fronts. Easy to apply with great coverage. I used spare paint on the kitchen doors. Great finish, much better than most gloss I have used in the past.

you have to get the technique right ,but it is so worth it .I bought the antique cream to update some beech melamine doors it has taken each one 3 coats ,but they look so good and you need patience as the wait between coats is quite long ,and you have to make sure it is completely dry before the next coat is applied .We have 20 doors to do so it is a long process ,my son has done mine and he is not an expert he did find that laying the door flat so the paint didnt run was helpful. He applied a thin coat first it does look a bit bubbly at first but dried smooth , then wait 5 hours or longer than apply 2nd coat again a thin layer is all thats needed again wait 5 hours then apply last coat he has done 3 up to now and they look fab hope to upload a photo when its finished.
