Tiger VS 3000
I'm very pleased with it, robust with a nice wide grinding width. The variable speed is an asset. I'd watched a few U-Tube videos although they were in German they were useful, the top tip was to make a depth setting block for the Chisel and plane blades in the tool holder, so that once the grind angle was set up using the angle setting adjuster, the following chisels didn't require further set up. Very pleased with the results achieved and no more soul destroying oilstone and honing guide for me!!Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Scheppach Tiger 3000 vs wet stone grinder
The wet stone itself is quite large which is good (250 mm x 62mm) but I was not impressed by the wobble you get when the stone is fitted to the machine and running. Run out from side to side is around 5 to 6 mm!! I expected a more precise machine having said that I have sharpened lots of chisels and some plane blades with it and it does give good results and not much wear to the stone itself so it does do the job intended. so 8/10.Verified purchase: YesCondition: Pre-owned
