Another fantastic camera from my collection/obsession. This camera is in amazing condition other than the missing cosmetic ring on the lends and the cosmetic damage on the bottom. Everything functioning like new! If you are looking for the CCD look with more zoom than a typical Digicam. This is the camera for you! I'm selling the body and strap only. A Great Performing Point and Shoot
I really like the picture quality of this camera despite only being 6mp. What is interesting is that when you zoom in on the images this camera takes, you will notice that it retains greater quality as compared to new 12mp point and shoot camera of today! Plus with the larger aperture, it has better light gathering power. Great Camera With Just the Right Pixel Load
This camera takes excellent pictures. For this size sensor and for most photos that are not going to be blown up into posters, six megapixels gives at least a nearly perfect image. Also, the SP-500 is very easy to use and compact enough to carry easily but hefty enough to be held steady with little effort. Love the new camera its light weight, takes clear detailed pictures. The 10x zoom is great for taking pictures of the wildlife in my backyard from a distance.
