Lighter and automatic not necessarily better
I'm using it with manual focus on a Fuji XT-10 After a 16-year life (the focus ring has a little play) it's slightly soft compared with a 1970s Pentax K 45-125mm manual zoom which is perfect and cost twice as much (2017) Both on f8 and same speed and ISO Tried many times to get it sharper.
