  • Best analogue delay around despite a few minor flaws

The best sounding analogue delay I've tried. Has a kind of dusty warmth to it that's hard to describe. Don't know any other analogue unit with 1.5 secs of delay either. Having gain and modulation options is nice but the best parts of this pedal are the 2 momentary features. Firstly, a secondary regeneration pot can be engaged with one foot switch to send the delay into self-oscillating swells. Secondly, the other footswitch engages the 'rubbernecking' feature, which can stretch or squeeze the delay time to create some crazy but gorgeous spacey sounds. I do have a few criticisms if I'm being picky though. There's no option to completely remove the dry signal; the controls for the rubbernecking and self-oscillating are too small and to close to the footswitches; I don't know why you can only reach the max delay times with the tap tempo and not the dial and the tone control can very easily lead to the bass self-oscillating horror film sounds. Nonetheless, these are all minor faults and it's cracking pedal

  • does everything, and more - perhaps a bit too much?!

more than just a delay. the 'rubberneck' feature is not as wild or fun as on the tc electronic flashback with mash pedal (delay geeks will know about this!) - - - but could be used in more applications musically if dialed in correctly. The modulation bit is a very nice touch so can dial in some really cool sounds.

  • Simple, with unique and useful functions.

Unique Rubberneck feature via Footswitch - you can create this effect manually on most Analogue Delay pedals, but it's such a PITA and difficult to achieve consistency - so much easier like this. The modulation is switchable via an Ext footswitch, and it's got Tap Tempo
