easy to set without touching the nasty parts
I bought two, and they both caught a mouse. One broke after catching one mouse and no longer can be reset. The design before this one was very similar and I have a couple of those and are work fine. Victor for some reason changed it to what seems to be a cheaper version for the same cost. Still works better than a conventional mouse trap, but the quality has dropped off.

Okay OK
Can't see a great deal of improvement over the old wooden type and a bit expensive maybe but it does eliminate some of the less savory handling of the old type traps. But then we still try to invent a better mouse trap and the endeavor continues. I did catch one mouse in my four traps so far.

These really work, We live in the country and always have the deer mice Looking for a warm place to spend the winter. they seem to infiltrate every and anything. In 2 weeks we have caught so many. Hope they are gone!! they reproduce at rates that no one would believe so now we have a way to prevent them from chewing into everything.

Mouse Killer
I have used this type trap for years now and needed more traps to place in a house I just bought for a Rental property. I place four traps bated with peanut butter. Within an hour I have one in each trap. So I reset the traps and before I could finish the work I was doing outside the house I had the traps full again. This was an infestation of mice, but the traps did their job and within three days I had trapped 20 mice and on day four only one. Now 25 days out and still none caught, and I have sealed all the entry points I could find into the house. GREAT JOB.

A better mouse trap
I was using the cheap wooden ones, and the mouse would get the cheese and peanut butter. I used the V trap and caught the mouse in two days and another in 10 days. They are well made with a modern design, that works every time.
