It does the job
Good quality, if somewhat uninspiring. It's a cable to allow two DVI connections to be made to a DMS-59 connector. If you only plan to use one, then consider the solid unit type, but this provides both available connections with no fuss.

I was not 100% sure it would work. I just tried it this evening and the cables work and the picture quality on both monitors is sharp and very clear. Just what I needed. Extremely pleased with the purchase

Why DVI?
The quality is good but why make a splitter that gives you a pair of DVI connectors instead of the much more common VGA connectors. So you have to buy a pair of (passive) DVI-A to VGA adapters.
