Made in USA. Use Logan 270D mountcutter blades. Includes five blades. It does that by holding the blade at the correct angle as it is pushed into the mountboard at the correct angle. There is an adjustable stop to set blade depth.

good quality construction
solid construction aluminium base is fluid in movement but doesnt run away. much better than the cheaper plastic version from different company i previously purchased which shattered. good value and easy change of blades. safe to use. may take a bit of practice if new to this, but anyone with reasonable craft skills and a bit of patience should find it more than satisfactory for the price. very good productVerified purchase: YesCondition: New

The price for this device is a little on the high side but presumably with new blades it would last a normal lifetime? It does the job well, once you have mastered using it the correct way round! Practice first would be my advice. Very simple design and small enough to store easily. I used it for an average size mount. Larger mounts might need the more professional version as there was a tendency for the my own metal guide ruler to slide out of alignment.
