I did a lot of research before buying this product. There are a lot of devices on the market to trim brass. Many of them cost well over a hundred dollars. They are a little more convenient to use but not in my budget. From all my reading this was clearly the best solution. For the money it does a nice job of trimming brass and goes pretty quickly. You can see it in action on you tube. I have already trimmed about 500 cases with it and I am very happy I bought it.

Sad I couldn't get it to work right. I set the die and cutter up on my press, and it would not adjust or trim to any necessary length. Some people love them, and there are videos on Youtube to instruct how to use them, but I had no success. Possible driver error. YMMV.

Don't be overly aggressive and it will work very well. I give 4 or five short bursts with my cordless drill/screwdriver...very little pressure...mostly drill weight. Result...perfectly trimmed and prepped cases. I use this to prep 300 blackout cases mostly. I mini chop-saw my candidate 223 cases to a target of 1.38 + or minus .005...then 4 gentle bursts gives me SAAMI (1.368), + or minus .002. The case mouth is well prepped, with OAL not dead perfect, but closer than purchased 'new' cases. It may take a little bit of playing to get your personal feel (muscle memory) just right, and perhaps require throwing a few early cases away, but it will work great once your "gentle" feel is achieved. It's a little like the feel you develop for seating primers. Don't give up on it...it's a great tool.Read full review

I was doing this by hand until I got the Lee Deluxe Power Quick Trim. It does a great job using a power drill or an electric screwdriver. Saves time and if your doing a lot of cases it saves your arm. It cuts the cases to size & it is very easy to set up. I do recommend it.

The Lee Deluxe Power quick trim has saved me quite a bit of time when prepping cases for reloading. I have cut one complete step off of the process by being able to trim and de-burr the cases in one operation. Good product.

Bought this for my 5.7x28 to start. Really is so much faster and easier to cut to length, chamfer, and de-bur all at once in only a few seconds. You do have to buy a different die for each caliber, but they set to correct height for each one with a click type hight adjustable to dial in the length. I did 500 5.7 cases in under two hours.

This is a replacement for my original trimmer which I had a problem with. My first unit had no instructions so I read on line of what to do. It seems that the ball bearing must be removed when using a .223 case doing so make the cut neat and never too short. Great little gadget

the design is simple and allows use on any single stage press. The cutter is very robust. The only downside is the de-burring and chamfering blade is a little thin, but we will see how it holds up. Otherwise it seems like a useful tool at a really good price.

Another innovative product from Lee. My only suggestion is after trimming a number of cases, wipe it down and lube with some spray case lube. I use a rechargeable screwdriver as the power source.

Broke the plastic adjuster immediately. Lee sent a new plastic adjuster. Good thing is not having to chuck the shells. Also made a .005 brass shim between die and plastic adjuster to adjust the trim length longer, at max case length. No longer have to trim to min. Deburr things are too agressive, I removed them. Lighter springs might work.
