    Does the job nicely!

My neighbor was moving and had a Honda GCV190LA pressure washer that sat in his shed for 10 years or so. He only used it a couple of times and it looks perfect but wouldn't start. He asked if I wanted it, and I said 'yes'. Small engines are kinda my thing. A squirt of starter fluid proved to me that there was nothing serious wrong as it started for a moment. I tore apart the carb to see that it was a corroded mess! I tried soaking it in carb cleaner, and blowing it out, but it was too far gone. So I bought this little gem of a replacement carb for around $25, it was delivered a few days later, which was early, and 15 minutes later I was happily pressure washing away. Easy peasy! This carb is an exact replacement and no adjustment was necessary. First pull and the washer starts and runs perfectly. I recommend that when using a small engine you don't store it with fuel. If there is a fuel valve, close it and run the engine until it stalls so that it is dry for storage, or remove the fuel from the tank and run it until dry (preferred).

It is an ok carb but you may have to modify the choke mechanism and disconnect the spring.

This carburetor worked fine but i had to modify the choke. The choke on the troy bilt pressure washers with a manual choke have a plastic cam and pull lever which holds it closed leaving your hands free to start the engine. This carburetor has a return spring that opens the choke as soon as you let go of it. I had to drill a hole and put a screw in the place where a metal pin should have been cast into the carb by the choke shaft. This was so it would click into the on choke and off choke positions. Other than that the engine started on one pull and ran great. I tied to clean the old carburetor multiple times to no avail so a new one it was. Decently priced.

  • Perfect OEM carb kit

Fantastic! So much easier because all the baskets are included. Just be 100% sure to pay special attention to installing the correct gasket in the correct spot. It easy to install the smaller gaskets upside-down (which I did) and the mower won’t start, or starts but runs roughly and sputters out. It’s amazing what an extra millimeter will do when I reinstalled the gasket the correct way. Everything ran perfectly after that!

  • Carburetor Breathes New Life

My 2006 Honda mower tended to surge RPM's, particularly when the clutch blade was not engaged. My carburetor fuel bowl had collected rust over the years. The rust particles were breaking free and causing havoc in the engine. I replaced the carburetor. Problem solved. Mower starts and runs as practically new again.

  • Different choke mechanism

The replacement carburetor was almost an exact replacement for the OEM carburetor used on the Ryobi pressure washer's GCV190 Honda engine. The only difference was that the replacement carburetor had a spring loaded choke and no stop to keep the choke closed. When cranking the cold engine, the right hand pulled the recoil starter while the left hand held the choke closed... Awkward to say the least.

  • was not expensive

Installed yesterday and observed one part was missing that controls choke. It cannot be removed inorder to install on new carb. It does start with many pulls and runs very fast. I ran out of time and will get back to it another day to see if I can lower idle..

  • Perfect OEM part.

It was the OEM part on my mower and after priming the engine it started on the first pull and idled perfectly and ran like new...Always go with the original manufacturer and never the cheaper Chinese knockoff if you don't want any issues...

  • Starts in one or two pull's

Genuine carburetor works great the only difference is you have to hold the choke it doesn't stay on but not a big deal.
