The bullet is an attractive piece of kit that fits neatly in the corner of any kitchen. I bought it predominantly for chopping things like parmesan cheese and onions. Things need to be cut up quite small though before they can be blitzed and the bullet needs a fair amount of shaking to keep the food items near to the blade inside the blending chamber. Onions soon become liquidized rather than chopped so be careful how long you blitz them for. As for cleaning, it has not been as easy as I would have hoped - going back to the parmesan scenario ... The blitzed cheese has a tendency to leave a rim of soft cheese behind that needs to be scraped out with the back of a spoon and cannot merely be rinsed away. The bullet is quite noisy but again, this could be due to the items we have blitzed. I should imagine that it would be great for blitzing soft fruits etc to make smoothies but we haven't tried this yet. The set itself if very good value for money. It comes with several accessories (which are currently still inside the box). I don't think we will use it as much as we thought we would. Maybe if we turn to a life of liquidized shakes, it will get more use but for general cooking purposes, it is not for us.Read full review

The nutribullet in theory looks good, but in reality is not safe. it can be improved regarding safety handling. On 19th August 2018, the nutribullet exploded on me while in use causing me an injury on the palm of my right hand, my hand landed on the still spinning blade, my index finger went numb straight away. I had an operation as a result of the accident, to explore and repair any damage on the nerve. Currently, I am waiting for the stitches to be removed and see how my index finger recovers it's sensation. The blended contents were on my kitchen ceiling, walls, my face, I ended covered by apple puree, porridge oats, vanilla extract and milk. All of this happened in approximate 10 to 15 seconds of using the nutribullet. Luckily, the contents were not hot. I have used the nutribullet several times previous the accident, I don't know what went wrong on the product to caused the explosion. it is a DANGEROUS product to use, i am not interested in using it ever again.Read full review
